Therapy is a form of professional help you can reach for when feeling overwhelmed. At some point, you may not be able to cope with your problems on your own anymore. During the therapy sessions, we can look at your difficulties together in order to understand what is really happening and how it can be changed.
Therapy is also a practice of becoming more self aware. Together with a therapist, you will learn to recognise your thoughts and feelings and connect with your body, which will bring you closer to experiencing life more fully and consciously.

About me
My name is Lilla Bentkowska and I am an integrative Gestalt psychotherapist with MSc in Psychology. I support people in overcoming personal and relational difficulties, connecting with one’s feelings and finding sense of authenticity and agency in times of crisis and in life generally. I like working with expatriates settled in Switzerland and cross-cultural couples.
I am dedicated to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach is rooted in empathy, acceptance, respect, and authenticity, as I believe in the inherent healing that comes from human relationships. I am committed to fostering a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship where I accompany clients in navigating lifeʼs challenges and cultivating meaningful and lasting change.

In person sessions with both partners present where we address a wide range of relationship issues.

Can therapy help me?
The first session is intended to help you determine whether therapy is the right solution for you and how you could benefit from it.
First of all, therapy can help you identify and better understand the source of your difficulties. You will gain new ways of looking at your problems and usually this is the first step towards change.
What kind of problems can I address?

How long does therapy take?
Although we often hope for a quick betterment, especially in a crisis, therapy can take time. This however is not a flaw as this time will allow you to know yourself and your relationship with the world better. Sometimes, when solving one particular issue is the aim, you can decide for short-term therapy that takes several sessions. Usually therapy takes longer, it is a process that develops over time which allows to work on much deeper level.
